Not All Disposers Are The Same !
Most disposers use a set of rotating blades to shred the food waste, these are noisy and can take a long time to process harder materials, the waste produced can be in the form of strands that could block pipes.
With our Maxmatic 5000, 4000 and commercial units a stainless steel rotor drives the waste against a cast stainless steel ring with multiple cutting edges, this quieter system grinds the waste into smaller pieces and will process harder materials in a reduced time. As the motors are reversible and the cutting edges are double sided, the grinding unit will stay sharper for longer.
